LINSHU, China May 20, 2024 /AsiaNet=연합뉴스/-- Walking into the Chunshan Tea Plantation in Linshu County, Shandong Province, you are greeted by rows of luscious green tea trees sprawled across the mountains and fields. The vivid greenery and fragrance of tea immerse you in a sense of tranquility and refreshment. Established in 1976, with an area of over 300 mu, this tea plantation is one of the earliest participants in the "introduction of high-quality tea from the South to the North for cultivation and production" initiative. It serves as a large-scale tea plantation integrating tea research, demonstration, promotion, cultivation, processing, production, and sales.

Located in Feather Mountain Tourist Scenic Area at the foot of Cangma Mountain, the Chunshan Tea Plantation enjoys a picturesque setting with pleasant climate and well-defined seasons. Yuan Weicai, general manager of Linshu County Chunshan Tea Plantation introduces that the plantation currently comprises four tea bases, one standardized tea processing plant, and one tea research institute. Its main products include green tea, black tea, yellow tea, health tea, among others, totaling 8 series and 36 varieties of high, medium, and low grades. They are sold well in over ten provinces and cities nationwide, and have even been exported to Japan, South Korea, and other regions.

Chunshan tea is known for its long production period, thick leaves, fine appearance, vibrant color, bright yellow-green liquor, mellow taste, and resistance to brewing. It has been recognized as "Top Ten Famous Teas in Shandong Province" and has won numerous first prizes in national tea competitions. In the fifth China Tea Cup competition, two teas selected by Yuan Chunshan, "Chunshan Xueya" and "Chunshan Xuejian", both received first prizes, highlighting their status as premium Chinese teas and securing their place in the Chinese Famous Tea Chronicles.

In recent years, Linshu County has leveraged its resource endowment to expand the tea industry beyond traditional tea cultivation, processing, and sales. Emphasizing tea culture, leisure, and health preservation, the county has extended the tea industry chain, and promoted the integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries to embark on a path of high-quality development that features "profound integration of tea culture and tourism for shared prosperity through industrial development".

Since 2022, the Chunshan Tea Expo Park has spared no effort to launch tea research and study tours, tea-picking, tea-frying and tea art experiences, and tea culture popularization activities, attracting numerous students and social groups to participate.
