YANGGU, China Mar 12, 2024 /AsiaNet=연합뉴스/-- With an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of insoluble sulfur, Yanggu Huatai Chemical Co., Ltd. is capable of recycling between 13,000 and 30,000 tons of sulfur annually, resulting in a reduction of over 1,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The achievements outlined in Yanggu Huatai's green supply chain creation report are truly remarkable.
Established in 1994, Yanggu Huatai has emerged as a leading enterprise in the rubber additives industry and is recognized as one of the fourth batch of national "green factory" enterprises. To meet increasingly stringent environmental requirements, Yanggu Huatai has developed a green manufacturing system focusing on green factories, green products, and green supply chains, thereby accelerating the establishment of advanced green manufacturing models.
By implementing a supplier management system, Yanggu Huatai ensures that products provided by suppliers comply with national regulations and standards, yielding significant results. Currently, nearly 80% of Yanggu Huatai's 468 suppliers have obtained environmental system certification.
Green production is a key aspect of Yanggu Huatai's green supply chain creation. They integrate green supply chain management into product design, development and production, introducing relevant standards and work content to ensure effective implementation of requirements. Throughout the product life cycle, priority is given to the use of environmentally friendly and energy-saving materials, with a comprehensive consideration of material recycling and reuse as well as their environmental impacts, thus enhancing resource utilization efficiency and reducing environmental pollution.
Through these measures, Yanggu Huatai has turned waste into valuable resources, significantly improving resource utilization efficiency. They adhere to the concept of green recycling, overcoming the challenge of producing a large amount of low-quality sulfur as a byproduct in the process of insoluble sulfur production. They have developed innovative sulfur controllable high-temperature decomposition technology, achieving low-energy and efficient sulfur recycling. The total yield of sulfur to insoluble sulfur has increased from 40%-60% to over 99%, significantly improving the utilization rate of sulfur, a non-renewable resource.
