브레시아, 이탈리아 2023년 11월 8일 /PRNewswire=연합뉴스/ -- 2024년 6월 11일부터 15일까지 진행될 제42회 밀레밀리아(1000 Miglia)의 신청 접수가 11월 7일(화) 12시부터 시작된다.

'세계에서 가장 아름다운 레이스'라고 불리는 밀레밀리아는 2024년에도 2021년 대회와 마찬가지로 반시계 방향의 여정을 펼칠 예정이다. 과거 총 24차례 열렸던 밀레밀리아 스피드 에디션 중 14번의 대회에서도 반시계 방향 경로로 진행되었던 사례가 있다. 이번 대회에서는 '2024년 유럽 스포츠의 수도(European Capital of Sport 2024)'로 선정된 제노바를 통과하는 코스가 새롭게 추가되었다. 또한 역대 최장 기록을 세운 지난 대회 이후 피에몬테가 2024년 밀레밀리아의 중심 지역으로 지정되었고 토리노가 처음으로 구간 경유 도시로 선정되었다.

첫날 구간은 6월 11일(화) 오후에 브레시아에서 출발해 베르가모, 노바라, 베르첼리를 거쳐 토리노에서 마무리된다.

둘째 날에는 랑게를 지나 남쪽으로 달려 알바 중심부를 가로질러 제노바에서 점심을 먹는다. 점심 후에는 리비에라 레반테를 떠나 티레니아해 방향으로 달려 비아레지오에 도착해 2일차 레이스를 마무리한다.

셋째 날에는 루카를 통과해 리보르노 해안으로 돌아와 레이스를 이어가다 카스틸리오네델라페스카이아에서 점심 식사를 한다. 오후에는 그로세토를 통과해 볼세나 호수를 따라 내려와서 로마 베네토 거리에서 전통 퍼레이드를 펼치며 3일차 레이스를 마친다.

넷째 날에는 오르비에토까지 갔다가 솔로메오에서 점심을 먹는다. 점심 후에는 시에나와 프라토를 향해 출발한다. 이후 참가자들은 후타 산길과 라트코사 산길을 가로질러 최종 구간인 볼로냐에 도착한다. 볼로냐에서 시작하는 최종 구간에서는 페라라를 거쳐 다시 가르다 호수, 발테네시, 살로를 지나 브레시아의 비알 베네치아에서 클래식 퍼레이드로 모든 레이스를 마무리한다.

Registro1000 Miglia 인증을 받았거나 인증을 신청한 차량만 참가 신청이 가능하며 인증을 취득한 차량만 참가가 허용될 수 있다.

참가 신청은 2024년 1월 16일(화) 16시에 마감하며 참가 승인 여부는 4월 12일까지 확인 가능하다.

BRESCIA, Italy Nov. 8, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- From 12.00 on Tuesday 7 November, entries will finally be open for the 42nd re-enactment of the Red Arrow, which will be held from 11 to 15 June 2024.

An anti-clockwise direction for this edition of the Most Beautiful Race In The World, replicating the choice made in 2021 and as it was in 14 of the 24 editions of the 1000 Miglia speed edition. Absolute novelty is the passage to Genoa, European Capital of Sport 2024. Moreover, after the historic passage of the last edition, Piedmont will become a pivotal region for the 1000 Miglia 2024, and Turin will be a leg city for the first time.

After the start from Brescia in the afternoon of Tuesday 11 June and the crossing through Bergamo, Novara and Vercelli, the first leg will end right in Turin.

On the second day, the convoy will head south down the Langhe and through the centre of Alba before stopping for lunch in Genoa. After the stop, the race will leave the Riviera di Levante in the direction of the Tyrrhenian coast, and will arrive in Viareggio, for the finish of the second day of the race.

The third leg will pass through Lucca, then return to the coast at Livorno and continue until the lunch break in Castiglione della Pescaia. In the afternoon, the cars will pass through Grosseto and descend along Lake Bolsena before ending the day with the traditional parade in Via Veneto in Rome.

On the fourth day, the crews will drive up to Orvieto before stopping for lunch in Solomeo. From here, they will depart towards Siena and Prato. Before reaching the leg finale in Bologna, drivers and navigators will cross the Futa and Raticosa passes. From Bologna, the final leg will pass Ferrara, and again Lake Garda with the Valtenesi and Salo before the classic parade in Viale Venezia in Brescia.

In order to apply for entry, cars must be in possession of, or have applied for, a certificate from the Registro1000 Miglia and may only be admitted if the certificate is obtained.

Entries will close at 16.00 on Tuesday 16 January 2024. Acceptance will be confirmed by 12 April.
