Starbucks Korea will raise prices of 11 non-coffee drinks in the standard tall size starting Nov. 1.
The coffee chain said Monday that the prices of the affected 355-milliliter (12-ounce) beverages — two blended drinks, six Frappuccinos, one Fizzio and two Refreshers — will increase by 200 won (15 cents). The Java Chip Frappucino, for instance, will rise from 6,300 won to 6,500 won.
Customers will be able to use mobile coupons for the drinks that they have purchased or received without paying extra after the price hike, Starbucks Korea said.
The decision comes three months after the coffee chain raised the prices of its grande and venti sizes of all of its drinks, customizations such as extra espresso shots and coffee beans on Aug. 2.
“We are raising some prices as direct and indirect costs have continued to rise,” Starbucks Korea said in a news release. The franchise said it was “raising prices for its iced drinks that had less demand in the winter to ease the customers’ burden.”
