BNK names new heads at Busan Bank, BNK Capital

BNK Financial Group has named new leadership across key affiliates as Chairman Bin Dae-in enters his second term.

BNK’s subsidiary CEO recommendation committee on Tuesday selected Kim Sung-joo, currently head of BNK Capital, as the final candidate for president of Busan Bank. Son Dae-jin, a vice president at Busan Bank, was tapped to succeed Kim as CEO of BNK Capital.

The committee also confirmed the reappointment of current CEOs at four affiliates—BNK Investment & Securities, BNK Savings Bank, BNK Venture Investment and BNK System.

Following the recommendations, each affiliate’s nomination committee will finalize candidates, who will then be formally appointed at extraordinary shareholder meetings.
