Tudor postelnicu, former Securitate head dies at 86

According to reports, Tudor Postelnicu passed away on 12 August 2017. He headed the Ministry of the Interior between 1987 and 1989, being assimilated as the right hand of Elena Ceausescu, the wife of Nicolae Ceausescu, at those times. Postelnicu conducted State Security affairs, being a party activist, but not an officer. He died at the Romanian Intelligence Service hospital after a long suffering, having been in a coma for his last days. During the time he headed the Securitate, Tudor Postelnicu coordinated the persecution and persecution of several anti-communist regime dissidents. During the 1989 anti-communist uprising, Postelnicu was arrested by the revolutionaries and subsequently interrogated by military prosecutors. Tudor Postelnicu was tried and sentenced in 1990 to prison for life. After recourse, his genocide ranks to particularly severe murder, he remained 14 years in jail, of which he executed only seven years, due to his medical condition.
