Paradise City serves seasonal restorative dishes through Aug. 31

Paradise City in Incheon is offering restorative summer dishes made with seasonal ingredients through Aug. 31. The Japanese restaurant Raku serves a lunch set called Natsu Special for 98,000 won, featuring Wando abalone shabu-shabu, sea eel and freshwater eel temaki, and cold zaru udon with sea urchin and cuttlefish. Seasonal single dishes include grunt sashimi tataki and grilled wild eel. The buffet restaurant On the Plate offers braised short ribs with medicinal herbs, grilled eel, steamed croaker and beef-and-vegetable dishes as part of its regular buffet.

Lahan Hotel Jeonju pairs hanji fan class with hanok village stay

Lahan Hotel Jeonju has introduced a summer package built around a local one-day class, pairing an overnight stay with hands-on programs in the North Jeolla Province city. The package includes one night's accommodation, a breakfast buffet for three (two adults and one child), and a class on making a fan from traditional hanji paper, set with fresh flowers. Guests also receive three Jeonbuk Tour Passes and a copy of the book "Hello, I'm Jeonju." Rates start at 174,000 won a night. Bookings are open through Aug. 28 for stays from July 4 to Aug. 29. The hotel's cafe and lounge, Hanokdang, looks out over Jeonju Hanok Village from a second-floor interior space and a third-floor outdoor terrace. Its Jeonju bibim bingsu, shaved ice built on the city's signature bibimbap, sells for 35,000 won.

Grand Hyatt Seoul brings back summer HY, adds raincoat version

Grand Hyatt Seoul has expanded its summer merchandise lineup built around HY, the hotel's mascot. The returning Summer HY Mini Keyring shows the character in sunglasses and a tube. Joining it this year is Rainy HY, which dresses the original character in a raincoat for wet summer days. The Summer HY Mini Keyring sells for 24,000 won and Rainy HY for 42,000 won. Both are sold at the front desk and The Deli for the summer season only.

Westin Josun Seoul pairs with Aveda for a scalp-care stay

The Westin Josun Seoul has partnered with vegan hair care brand Aveda on a room package, Herendy Signature: The Scalp Sanctuary, available through Dec. 15 with rates starting at 482,790 won. Guests staying at least two nights gain access to the Aveda Botanical Scalp & Soul Therapy program at the third-floor City Athletic Club, delivered by therapists trained by Aveda. Deluxe and Executive rooms require a minimum three-night stay and add a 30-minute scalp therapy session and an Aveda shampoo and conditioner gift set. Stays of five nights or more include dining vouchers worth 100,000 won and airport pickup and drop-off, depending on room type.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul offers a K-wellness suite package

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is offering the Holistic Heritage Retreat, a suite package available through Dec. 31. Built around a suite stay overlooking Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung, it includes a six-piece skincare set from Sulwhasoo's The Ultimate S collection, Executive Lounge access for two adults and one child, and use of the hotel's Korean sauna. Guests are welcomed with ginseng tea and ginseng-based treats. They may choose a City-View or Palace-View Executive Suite, with rates starting at 2,480,000 won per night.
