LG Electronics Inc. has opened a new exhibition space for its ultra-premium built-in appliance brand SKS, strengthening its push into the high-end kitchen market.

The company officially opened SKS Seoul on Wednesday in Nonhyeon-dong, southern Seoul, after a full renovation of the Signature Kitchen Suite showroom it has operated since 2017. The revamped space reflects the brand’s transition to SKS and marks a key step in LG’s premium strategy.

The five-story, 1,918-square-meter showroom, which includes one basement level, features 10 concept rooms styled as real living spaces. LG worked with luxury Italian furniture brands Molteni&C and Arclinea to present SKS appliances such as column refrigerators and freezers, wine cellars, steam ovens, dishwashers, and induction cooktops.

The showroom was designed by architect Ken Sungjin Min, known for high-end resorts including Ananti Namhae and Sagewood. Guided by his belief that architecture itself should serve as a space of inspiration, the venue allows visitors to experience products firsthand and receive customized kitchen design consultations from professional designers.

LG’s other premium appliances are also showcased, including the Dios Objet Collection Fit & Max refrigerator, designed to create harmony between kitchen, living, and laundry areas. A zero-clearance hinge reduces the gap between doors and walls to four millimeters, enhancing the built-in finish. The fourth floor features a premium dining space for LG membership customers, while the fifth floor serves as a private cooking studio.

Earlier this year, LG rebranded its Signature Kitchen Suite line as SKS to strengthen its global premium positioning. The company operates SKS showrooms in four cities: Seoul, New York, California’s Napa Valley, and Milan.
