Babymonster logs 100m views with ‘Drip’ dance video

Babymonster surpassed 100 million views on YouTube with the performance video for “Drip,” label YG Entertainment said Thursday.

It is the group’s ninth video to reach the milestone. The music video for the song amassed 200 million hits in February.

“Drip” is the title track from the rookie girl group’s first studio album. The LP became its first entry on the Billboard 200, ranking No. 149, while the lead single ranked No. 16 and No. 30 on the Billboard Global excl. US and Global 200 charts, respectively. The LP has sold over 1.7 million copies as of March.

Meanwhile, the seven members are set to perform in Osaka, Japan, on Thursday for the group's “Hello Monsters” tour. They kicked off the tour in Seoul in January and will visit two more cities in Japan in April before flying over to Singapore in May.
