NCT’s Mark reveals title of solo album: 'The Firstfruit'

NCT Mark's upcoming first solo album will be “The Firstfruit,” his label SM Entertainment announced Friday.

The album will consist of 13 tracks including the main track “1999” as well as the prereleases “200” and “Fraktsiya (feat. Lee Youngji)” which he released last year.

Mark took inspiration for the LP from the cities he has lived in: Toronto, his hometown; New York, where he first moved; Vancouver, where he went to school; and Seoul where he realized his dream.

The solo endeavor “will be an autobiographical album,” he said in an interview with a local magazine, confiding that he has come to realize what type of artist he wants to be and what message he wants to deliver while working on the album.

"The Firstfruit" is due out on April 7. Mark will drop another prerelease single “+82 Pressin” on March 19.
