(SOOP and KBO League)

The SOOP, a global video live-streaming platform that provides free exposure to baseball games, announced Friday it will continue streaming KBO League games, starting from “2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League” this Saturday.

SOOP has been providing streaming services since June 2024, delivering unique live broadcast experiences to overseas Koreans and global fans. The “2024 KBO League,” which ran for four months, drew over 1.77 million cumulative viewers.

Starting with exhibition matches on March 8, SOOP will broadcast this year’s regular season and postseason games worldwide. Additionally, it plans to offer Video On Demand (VOD) services, including replays and highlights, for those who miss the live broadcasts.

The regular season will start on March 22, featuring a total of 720 matches, with each team playing 144 matches. With issues like the movement of star players, the performance of rookies, and the opening of a new home stadium, SOOP expects this season to be even more exciting than in previous years.

Alongside the live streaming, SOOP also features a diverse range of partial broadcasts performed by individual global streamers, allowing real-time global communication with multilingual subtitles and chat translation options.

All KBO games are currently available in regions outside of South Korea through SOOP’s website and mobile app.
