Sudan's ambassador to Malaysia holds press conference in Kuala Lumpur

The Government of Sudan urged the international community to formally designate the RSF as a terrorist organization, to condemn its actions, and hold the militia and its sponsors accountable for their crimes, and demanded RSF's foreign backers to immediately cease arms supplies and financial support for mercenary activities in Sudan, according to a press statement by the Sudanese embassy on 11 November. A civil war broke out April 2023 between the Sudanese military led by army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the former Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan.
