The Netflix series Mr. Plankton, premiering on Nov. 8, is a romantic comedy about ex-lovers, Haejo and Jaemi. Haejo has wandered for a lifetime without family, and one day he receives a terminal diagnosis. Meanwhile, Jaemi is told she’s experiencing early menopause just before getting married. On her wedding day, Haejo, suddenly reappears, and takes her to join him on his final journey. Woo Do-hwan stars as Haejo, and Lee Yoo-mi plays Jaemi, with Hong Jong-chan directing.

Love in Contract. /Netflix

Love in Contract

Premiering on Netflix on November 11, Love in Contract follows the romance of Choi Sang-eun, a contract marriage master, with her Monday-Wednesday-Friday client Jung Ji-ho and her Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday superstar client Kang Hae-jin. Park Min-young plays the role of the perfect single-life helper Choi Sang-eun, Go Kyung-pyo stars as the mysterious long-term client Jung Ji-ho, and Kim Jae-young plays star client Kang Hae-jin, creating a love triangle.

Arcane: Season 2. /Netflix

Arcane: Season 2

The Netflix animated series Arcane returns for Season 2. Set amidst the conflict between the upper city Piltover and the underground city Zaun, it follows the war between sisters Jinx and Vi, who stand on opposing sides. Season 2 features an expanded world and stunning action scenes, with characters like Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Ekko, and Ambessa intertwined in the storyline. Season 1 won four Primetime Emmy Awards in 2022. Season 2 will be released in three acts on Netflix: Act 1 on November 9, Act 2 on November 16, and Act 3 on November 23.

Born for the Spotlight

The Taiwanese Netflix series Born for the Spotlight, premiering on Nov. 7, follows the journey of two top actresses and a 20-year-old aspiring actress, showcasing a bond among women in the show business. Directed and written by Taiwanese actress, author, and director Yanni Yen, the series stars Hsieh Ying-xuan, Gingle Wang, and Shih Szu-ling. Having been invited to the On-Screen section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival, the series shines a warm spotlight on female solidarity.

Meet Me Next Christmas

In the Netflix movie Meet Me Next Christmas, Leila meets her dream guy, James, and they agree to reunite at next year’s Pentatonix concert in New York. However, as she fails to get a ticket, she encounters Teddy through a ticket reservation service, and they begin a quest across New York to find tickets together. Christina Milian stars as Leila.
