Shilla Stay to open near Jeonju Hanok Village in December

Shilla Stay, the business hotel brand of Hotel Shilla, will open its 16th location near Jeonju Hanok Village on December 10th, 2024, becoming the first South Korean conglomerate-affiliated hotel to establish a presence in Jeonju.

Billed as a more affordable alternative to the luxury hotel, Shilla Stay offers distinctive services at reasonable prices. The new Jeonju hotel will feature a structure spanning three basement levels and ten floors above ground, with a total of 210 guest rooms. Amenities will include a buffet restaurant, café, rooftop lounge, fitness center, and laundry facilities.

The hotel is designed to meet diverse guest needs, offering 60 family rooms, 8 bunker rooms, 35 traditional ondol rooms, and 18 cinema rooms tailored for couples to enjoy a movie experience. The 11th-floor rooftop lounge will incorporate elements of traditional Hanok architecture, adding a unique cultural dimension to the guest experience. In keeping with Jeonju’s reputation as a “city of gastronomy,” Shilla Stay also plans to deliver a memorable dining experience.
