Samyang highlights innovative R&D projects at annual fair

Samyang Group hosted its annual Samyang Innovation R&D Fair (SIRF) at its Discovery Center in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, on Wednesday. The event, first launched in 2012 and now in its 13th year, provides an opportunity for Samyang Group researchers to showcase and discuss their research and development projects from the past year. The 2024 event awarded high-performing projects to foster a collaborative environment and inspire future R&D advancements.

At the fair, Samyang Group awarded its top honor to a project focused on developing adhesive materials specifically for electric vehicle motor cores. This project was recognized for its superior adhesive strength, heat resistance, and oil resistance compared to competitors. Samyang Group researchers also developed a unique rapid-curing system at room temperature, significantly boosting productivity in the manufacturing process.

Samyang Group has leveraged this technology to secure intellectual property rights, enhancing both market competitiveness and growth potential.
