epa11704934 A monument of the atom marks the entrance to the Khmelnitsky Nuclear Power Plant in central Ukraine, Khmelnitsky, Ukraine, 05 November 2024 (issued 06 November 2024). The plant has two reactors in use, two more under construction, and two more in the pipeline. The Zaporiyia plant was shut down in the summer of 2022 after being occupied by Russian troops.
