Odysseas Elytis museum opens in Athens

The museum dedicated to the Greek Nobel laureate poet Odysseas Elytis is located in an old neoclassical building on Dioskouroi and Polygnotou streets, which has been granted by the Ministry of Culture to house 'The House of Elytis.' The museum will officially open its doors on 01 November 2024, one day before the 112th anniversary of Elytis's birth. The building includes exhibition spaces, areas for housing the Elytis Archive, and visual materials that showcase his body of work.
