Team Naver to showcase digital twin technology in Saudi Arabia

South Korean platform giant Naver Corp. and its affiliates will showcase the achievements of its digital twin platform project currently underway in Saudi Arabia during Cityscape Global 2024, which will take place in Riyadh from November 11 to 14.

Under the theme “Building Future Cities with Digital Twin Technology,” Team Naver will operate a booth with Saudi Arabia‘s National Housing Co. (NHC), Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corp. (LX), and Korea Water Resources Corp.

The booth will highlight the results of the digital twin platform project conducted with NHC and provide visitors with innovative technology experiences.

The booth will be divided into three areas.

Visitors will be able to interact with a diorama media table featuring digital twin scenarios such as flood simulation, urban planning, and transportation system construction.

A virtual reality experience zone will allow visitors to explore the NHC housing project realized with Naver’s digital twin solution, ALIKE. There will also be a media exhibition showcasing Naver‘s technology and presentations.

Earlier, Naver won the project to develop a digital twin platform for major Saudi cities, marking its first technology export to the country.

Since the project’s launch in July this year, Team Naver has been working with LX and K-water to develop flood and urban planning simulation services. The digital twin data for Jeddah, one of the major cities, has already been completed.

The team plans to continue developing key services with various partners, with the goal of launching the first service early next year.

Cityscape Global 2024 is the world’s largest exhibition in construction and real estate, held this year under the theme “The Future of Living.” This year’s event is expected to be the largest ever, featuring over 400 exhibitors, more than 500 speakers, and seven conferences.
