Korean Air Lines Co. announced today that it is celebrating 30 years of service to San Francisco in the United States.

The airline launched its first scheduled passenger flight directly linking Incheon and San Francisco on October 29th, 1994. Since then, the flight has operated more than seven times a week, serving as a means of cultural and economic exchange between South Korea and the western United States.

In a commemorative event held at San Francisco International Airport, Korean Air Lines awarded a free, round-trip ticket from San Francisco to Incheon to the 30th passenger checking in for flight KE024 to Incheon.
