The 32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024 (HMA 2024) will be held at Jangchung Arena in central Seoul on Feb. 15 and 16, the organizer Hanteo Global announced on Monday.
HMA 2024, hosted and organized by Hanteo Global — operator of the real-time music chart Hanteo Chart — is a music awards ceremony where K-pop veterans present awards to stars representing the current generation.
This year’s HMA will be co-planned and produced with BEPC Tangent, a specialized festival and performance production company.
With the dates and venue confirmed, HMA 2024 will gradually unveil various content, including the lineup of presenters and winners, the timetable and the opening of nominations for fan-participating award categories and other events.
"I am very pleased to announce the holding of HMA 2024, an awards ceremony that connects the past, present and future of K-pop,” said Hanteo Global CEO Kwak Young-ho.
"We anticipate great excitement and interest in HMA 2024, which will be more than just an awards ceremony. It will celebrate both the classic and modern generations of K-pop, bringing fans together in a truly unique festival experience."
Only albums and songs released within this year are eligible for nomination, with winners selected based on data from the Hanteo Chart. Additional details will be announced on the official HMA 2024 social media channels.
