Singer and actor Kim Woo-seok and actor Kang Na-eon are dating, Kim's agency Blitzway Studios said Friday. The statement came after media outlet News1 reported on the same day that the two are in a relationship.
"Kim Woo-seok and Kang Na-eon carefully developed a romantic relationship after working together on a project," the agency said. "We kindly ask for warm support as you watch over their relationship."
The couple first met through the romantic drama “Social Savvy Class 101,” which will hold its production presentation on Oct. 29 and is set to release on streaming platforms like Tving, Wavve, and Watcha on Nov. 10. Kim is 27 years old and Kang is 23.
Kim is scheduled to enlist in the military’s music corps on Nov. 4, meaning Kang will take on the role of a gomusin, a Korean term for those waiting for a loved one serving in the military.
Kim debuted with the boy band UP10TION in 2015 and officially departed from the group in March. He began his solo career in May 2020 and continues to pursue both music and acting, starring in dramas such as “Twenty-Twenty” (2020) and “Finland Papa" (2023).
Kang, who debuted in the 2022 tvN drama “Blind,” also appeared in another tvN series “Crash Course in Romance” (2023) and recently featured in the Tving original series “Pyramid Game” in February.
