HD Hyundai Construction Equipment showcases latest electric excavator

HD Hyundai Co., the holding company of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, is showcasing its latest electric excavator at an exhibition that is taking place for the first time in three years.

HD Hyundai XiteSolution, a sub-holding company of HD Hyundai and manufacturer of heavy equipment for construction, announced that it is participating in the four-day Korea International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CONEX Korea) that kicked off on Thursday at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The company is showcasing its latest products and technologies with an emphasis on safety, productivity, and sustainability.

Under the theme of safety, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Co., an affiliate of HD Hyundai XiteSolution, is introducing the 2D Machine Guidance Plus, which provides warnings for users when a machine strays from its designated work area.

It is also showcasing Hyundai Connect, a mobile app that enables users to identify machinery errors and request warranty services via smartphones.

Under the theme of productivity, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment is showcasing a range of innovations, including a compact excavator without a rear overhang for enhanced maneuverability and a robust ultra-large wheel loader with a high-strength design structure.

In the sustainability category, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment is debuting its first electric excavator, HX20E.

Visitors with an excavator certification can have the opportunity to test drive the vehicle. HD Hyundai Infracore Co. will showcase HX12, an excavator with a hydrogen-fueled engine.
