G-Dragon set for first MAMA Awards performance in nine years

K-pop legend G-Dragon is set to perform at this year’s MAMA Awards, marking his first stage appearance at the ceremony since 2015.

On Tuesday, CJ ENM announced the third round of artists confirmed to perform at the 2024 MAMA Awards, which will kick off at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 before continuing at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on Nov. 22 and 23.

According to the latest announcement, ILLIT, Katseye, Riize, TWS and J.Y. Park are confirmed to perform in the United States on Nov. 21. Enhypen, Tomorrow X Together, BoyNextDoor, Treasure, IVE, ME:I and Plave will take to the stage on Nov. 22 at Kyocera Dome. aespa, INI, Zerobaseone, Lee Young-ji, Meovv, BiBi, (G)I-DLE and G-Dragon will then perform on Nov. 23.

This is the first time that part of the award ceremony will be held in the United States. The event will be broadcast live on Mnet and livestreamed on its YouTube channels, Mnet K-pop and Mnet TV.
