Doosan revises share swap ratio to favor minority shareholders

Doosan Group announced that it would revise the stock swap ratio between shares from Doosan Enerbility Inc. and Doosan Robotics Inc. in favor of minority shareholders as part of the merger of its two subsidiaries.

Top executives from the subsidiaries held a press conference to announce the revised ratio, which came about after financial authorities criticized the original ratio for disproportionately favoring the majority shareholder. In response, the companies changed the ratio in a way that gives minority shareholders of Doosan Enerbility more shares in Doosan Robotics.

Under the new terms, a shareholder with 100 shares of Doosan Enerbility will receive 88.5 shares post-split and 4.33 shares of Doosan Robotics, up from the previously announced 75.3 and 3.15 shares.
