Doosan to revise share swap ratio at board of directors meeting

Two subsidiaries of Doosan Group are set to hold a board of directors’ meeting on Monday as part of their planned new structure, including a revised stock swap ahead of their merger. According to financial reports released on Sunday, Doosan Group will announce a share swap ratio in a merger by Doosan Robotics Inc. to acquire Doosan Bobcat Inc.’s shares from Doosan Enerbility Co.

The board is expected to vote on increasing the swap ratio by about 30 percent from the previously proposed 1 to 0.031. Under the new terms, a Doosan Enerbility shareholder with 100 shares will see the number of Doosan Robotics shares they would receive in the merger rise from 3.1 to 4.
