Yonsei to create dual MBA program with Tsinghua University

Yonsei University announced Thursday it will create a dual MBA degree program with Tsinghua University, becoming the first Asian university to do so.

Yonsei University announced Thursday it will create a dual MBA degree program with Tsinghua University, becoming the first Asian university to do so.

The two universities signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to offer the dual MBA degree program starting the spring 2025 semester.

Students who are part of Yonsei University's Graduate School of Business' Executive MBA, Corporate MBA, Finance MBA and Global MBA programs and those enrolled in Tsinghua University's Global MBA program will be able to apply for the dual degree program.

Each university will select up to five students each year, with admitted students studying at the other university for a year.

Participating students will get an MBA degree from both Yonsei and Tsinghua University when they graduate.

Tsinghua University operates dual MBA degree programs with universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Columbia University and HEC Paris. Yonsei University is the first Asian university chosen to partake in Tsinghua's dual MBA degree program.

"Tsinghua University already has dual MBA degree programs with top universities in the United States and Europe," said Kim Seong-moon, dean of Yonsei University's Graduate School of Business. “Through the partnership, Yonsei University now became Asia's first university offering the dual MBA degree program with Tsinghua University."
