(MHNSports Intern Reporter Yena) BLACKPINK's Lisa continues her global activities with the release of her new solo.

Lisa released her new single "Moonlit Floor" on October 4 at 9 AM KST through worldwide music platforms.

"Moonlit Floor" samples the hit song "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer from the 1990s, and is reinterpreted through Lisa's dreamy vocals and rap lines.

Particularly, "Moonlit Floor" was first revealed at the Global Citizen Festival held in Central Park, New York. As the headliner of the event, Lisa performed "ROCKSTAR", "NEW WOMAN," "Lalisa," and "Money," receiving enthusiastic responses from the live audience and fans around the world.

After signing a partnership with RCA Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music, in April, Lisa launched her global activities with the single "ROCKSTAR." Upon release, "ROCKSTAR" topped the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, and was positioned 4th place on the Billboard Global 200 weekly chart.

Additionally, "ROCKSTAR" achieved 8th place on the Spotify Global Daily Chart and top ranked on charts in over 20 countries. The song won the "Best K-Pop" award at the MTV Video Music Awards, making Lisa the first K-pop solo artist to win multiple trophies.

Meanwhile, Lisa is expected to perform at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York on the 15th.
