The prime ministers discussed the roadmap - a plan of joint activities between Ukraine and Slovakia, which was signed by Robert Fico and Denys Smyhal at the first joint meeting of the governments in Michalovce, Slovakia, in April 2024. The roadmap includes cooperation in energy security, infrastructure projects, and the economy. It also covers support for the Ukrainian president's peace plan, which was presented at the first global peace summit. Government members also discussed support for Ukraine's membership in the European Union as well as cooperation in the defense industry, demining of Ukrainian territories, humanitarian support, and reconstruction of Ukraine.
