The project, sponsored by LG Electronics, is a collaboration between artist Kang Ik-joong and the KCCNY. The artwork, measuring 8 meters (26 feet) in width and 22 meters in length, is composed of around 20,000 characters of hangul, the Korean alphabet. LG Electronics established a website for the campaign and software to compile the texts submitted for the project.
