Jaehyun of boy band NCT will hold his first fan concert, "2024 Jaehyun Fan-con 〈MUTE〉," next month before beginning his mandatory military service in November.
The fan concert will take place on Oct. 26 and 27 at Olympic Park Handball Stadium in southern Seoul, according to the artist's agency SM Entertainment on Friday.
A fan concert refers to an event larger than a fan meet and greet but smaller than a full-fledged concert.
The event is expected to provide meaningful time between the artist and his fans before he enlists in the Army band on Nov. 6, said his agency. He is slated to be discharged in May 2026.
Tickets for the fan concert will open at Melon Ticket on Oct. 4 for fan club members and on Oct. 7 for the general public.
Jaehyun has been actively pursuing solo activities as a musician and an actor. His debut full-length album, “J,” was released in August, and his first leading role in the film “You Will Die in 6 Hours” is set to premiere on Oct. 16.
Jaehyun debuted in 2016 under SM Entertainment as a member of the boy band NCT U with its digital single “The 7th Sense.” He is currently a member of several NCT subunits, such as NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dojaejung.
