Vocational training center provide treatment and training to drug addicts

A 4,500-bed addiction treatment hospital, run by the Taliban government, treating drug addicts and providing them with vocational training in Kandahar, the southern region of Afghanistan. The center is currently treating 1,500 addicts and has successfully rehabilitated 1,000 individuals over the past year. Beyond medical treatment, the facility offers vocational training in six key areas, including tailoring, plumbing, electrical work, solar system installation, electrical equipment repair, and motorcycle repair, equipping patients with skills for reintegration into society. This initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to combat addiction and provide sustainable futures for recovering individuals amidst Afghanistan's challenging socio-economic landscape.
