Girl group ILLIT will hold a special party on Thursday in Paris to celebrate and tease the quintet's upcoming album, "I'll Like You," set for release on Oct. 21.
The party, dubbed "Friends Night in Paris," will offer a preview of the new album's music and concept, according to the girl group's agency, Belift Lab. ILLIT will also give a special performance for attendees.
ILLIT held the first "Friends Night" event in Seoul in March, ahead of its official debut. The Paris event coincides with Paris Fashion Week, where the group members will participate as campaign models for Acne Studios, according to Belift Lab.
"I'll Like You" comes six months after its debut EP, "Super Real Me."
“Through ‘I'll Like You,’ the girls will showcase their various charms by being bold and straightforward as they seek to find their true selves,” the agency said.
ILLIT was formed through JTBC’s idol audition program, “R U Next?” (2023), and debuted under Belift Lab, a HYBE subsidiary, in March with “Super Real Me.” Immediately upon debut, the girl group topped both domestic and international charts. "Super Real Me” made it onto the U.S. Billboard 200, and the title track "Magnetic" entered both the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Official Singles Top 100.
