Korean Air will boost its flights to major vacation destinations including Vietnam's Nha Trang as well as Bali and Las Vegas amid increasing travel demand ahead of the winter season.
The country's flag carrier said it will double flights on its Incheon-Nha Trang route from a daily service to twice a day starting from Oct. 27. Flights on the Incheon-Phu Quoc route will also be doubled to twice a day from Dec. 15.
Flights connecting Incheon and Bali will be offered twice a day, up from the current 11 per week, starting from Oct. 20. The schedule will continue through March 27 of next year.
Flights to and from Las Vegas will be offered daily from the current five times per week starting from Oct. 27.
Traffic on the Vancouver route will be upped to 11 per week starting from Oct. 27 and twice a day from Dec. 1. Incheon-Madrid flights will be offered four times a week from the three currently operating.
Flights on the Incheon-Kagoshima and Incheon-Taichung routes will be available every day.
Airlines schedule major routes by summer and winter seasons. Korean Air's winter schedule runs from Oct. 27 to March 29 of next year.
"Starting from the upcoming winter schedule, Korean Air's international flight frequencies will likely recover completely to pre-pandemic levels," said a spokesperson for the airline.
