Some patients were evacuated from the local district hospital and taken to other hospitals in the Opole province after it was flooded on 15 September. Residents of Nysa clean up the city after devastating flooding caused by Storm Boris. The breach of the city's levees caused significant flooding in the central area and surrounding neighborhoods causing severe damage or completely destroying residential properties in the affected area.
