KB Kookmin Bank expands lunch-hour consultation services

KB Kookmin Bank will expand its lunch-hour focused consultation service to 41 branches nationwide starting Monday, the bank announced Sunday.

The bank has been piloting the service at five branches since December 2023, offering full staff availability for personal banking between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. During the pilot, customer satisfaction rose to 84.6 points, or 3.5 points higher than branches without the service. Additionally, 97 percent of customers surveyed expressed a need for expanded access to lunchtime consultations.

The list of participating branches is available on the bank‘s website and app. Additional staff will be assigned to these locations to better serve lunchtime customers.

“We expanded this service to make it more convenient for customers to handle their banking needs during their lunch breaks,” a bank representative said.
