Felix of boy band Stray Kids donated 100 million won ($75,200) to children in need in celebration of his birthday, his agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.
Felix, born on Sept. 15, 2000, donated 50 million won to Unicef and 50 million won to World Vision, according to the agency. The donations will go toward providing food for children in Laos and Korea, respectively.
World Vision designated Felix as a member of the Bob Pierce Honors Club, which is awarded to individuals who have made donations exceeding 100 million won in total.
Felix was also made the youngest member of the Unicef Honors Club after making a 100-million-won donation earlier this year.
"I want to keep on supporting work to protect the pure hearts of children," Felix said in a press release. "I feel grateful to be able to make my birthday a special day by sharing the love that the fans have given me. I hope the money goes to where it is needed."
Stray Kids kicked off its "dominATE" world tour with four concerts at southern Seoul's KSPO Dome. The tour will continue in Singapore, Australia and other locations.
