Presentation of sculpture 'Future Memory - Tricycle' in Geneva

epa11613764 Hitomi Hasebe, Tetsutani family representative, shows photos of young Shinichi Tetsutani with his tricycle, in front of the sculpture titled 'Future Memory - Tricycle' donated to the City of Geneva and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, in Geneva, Switzerland, 19 September 2024. Shinichi Tetsutani, aged three, was on his tricycle when the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima on 06 August 1945. He was found near his tricycle, suffering from severe burns and other injuries. Shinichi died that same night. The bronze artwork, which represents the boy's tricycle, was created by Akira Fujimoto and Cannon Hersey, commissioned by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN). The original tricycle is currently displayed at the Hiroshima Peace Museum, Japan. EPA/MARTIAL TREZZINI
