Samsung Fire teams up with SNU on future market challenges

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on Thursday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Seoul National University to establish a mid- to long-term industry-academia cooperation model. The collaboration aims to strengthen joint efforts in responding to future market trends, researching new technologies, and enhancing innovative capabilities by connecting their research infrastructures.

Samsung Fire plans to engage in joint research with Seoul National University’s faculty and research teams to address the rapidly evolving insurance market via this partnership. The company also intends to gradually expand collaboration with Seoul National University Technology Holdings to foster technological advancement.

“We hope this agreement will yield tangible results that allow us to lead the future of the insurance market and establish a substantial competitive edge,” a Samsung Fire spokesperson said.
