(240913) -- ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 13, 2024 (Xinhua) -- A panel discussion is held during the 10th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia, Sept. 12, 2024. The 10th St. Petersburg International United Cultures Forum is taking place in Russia's second-largest city, gathering about 1,700 representatives from Russia and abroad.

The theme of this year's forum, which runs from Sept. 11 to 14, is "Culture of the XXI century: sovereignty or globalism?" Dozens of panel discussions and round-table meetings are held under the framework, covering topics such as cultural heritage protection, national identity building, and the application of artificial intelligence in culture and art.
