Girl group ITZY will release its new EP "Gold" on Oct. 15 with two lead tracks, "Gold" and "Imaginary Friend," the band's agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.
"Gold" is the quintet's first new album in nine months since its eighth EP "Born to Be" was released in January.
The EP will feature 11 tracks including the double lead tracks as well as "VAY," a track featuring boy band Stray Kids' member Changbin.
This album will also be the first time in over a year that member Lia joins in the band's activities. Lia took time off since last September due to "extreme nervousness and anxiety."
ITZY recently finished its second world tour, “Born to Be,” which kicked off with concerts at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul, in February. The girl group held 32 performances in 28 regions around the world.
