President Lula participates in the ceremony celebrating the return of the sacred Tupinamba cloak to Brazil

The Tupinambá cape returned to Brazil on 11 July, after its stay at the National Museum of Denmark, and is now on display at the Central Library of the National Museum. The cape, 1.80 meters high, is made of thousands of red feathers from the Guará bird. It was kept together with four other capes at the National Museum of Denmark since its arrival in Copenhagen in 1689, although it is believed to have been made almost a century earlier.
