LG CNS expands Indonesia business with new joint venture

South Korean digital transformation specialist LG CNS entered a joint venture in Indonesia to expand its information technology operations in the country. The company said on Wednesday that it held an official launch ceremony for the venture, named “LG Sinar Mas Technology Solutions,” on Tuesday at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta in collaboration with Indonesia’s Sinar Mas Group.

The joint venture will be headquartered in Jakarta and led by Han Dong-hyup, who previously served as the head of both LG CNS’s Indonesian and Chinese branches. The event marked the official launch of LG Sinar Mas in Indonesia and served as a platform to present its vision and goals for the future expansion of IT services in the region.
