EXO member Baekhyun's latest EP, "Hello, World," sold over 1 million copies within five days of its release, according to his agency INB100 on Wednesday.
Baekhyun’s fourth EP sold over 893,000 copies on Friday, the day of its release, already surpassing the 868,000 copies sold in the first week of his third EP “Bambi” (2021).
This achievement makes him a million-seller for the third consecutive time since his second solo EP "Delight."
The latest EP marks Baekhyun’s first solo release in three years and five months, following his third EP released in March 2021. The album features six tracks across various genres, including the lead track “Pineapple Slice.”
Baekhyun debuted in 2012 as a member of boy band EXO and began his solo career in 201 with the first EP “City Lights.”
The artist launched his own agency, INB100, in January and has signed bandmates Chen and Xiumin to the company, following a legal dispute with his former agency, SM Entertainment.
The three filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment executives in June, accusing them of violating Korea's Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.
INB100 recently announced a firm stance on taking legal action against the spread of false information.
