Hyundai’s 2025 IONIQ 6 named Kelly Blue Book best EV of 2025

South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Co.’s ‘2025 IONIQ 6’ was named the ‘Best Electric Vehicle of 2025’ by U.S. automotive publication Kelley Blue Book. The IONIQ 6 achieved this recognition for a third consecutive year in 2024.

Kelley Blue Book selected the car as the top electric vehicle after conducting hundreds of hours of driving evaluations in in key categories, including driving performance, interior, exterior, convenience features, driving range and charging performance, and safety. The publication praised the IONIQ 6 as “a strong rival to the Tesla Model 3 and an incredibly efficient and stylish electric vehicle.”

It highlighted the car’s impressive driving range of up to 361 miles (581 kilometers) and a charging time of just 18 minutes, noting that this showcases the pinnacle of current battery technology.
