Hanwha defense units to hire 600 entry-level workers

Hanwha Group’s three defense companies—Hanwha Aerospace Co., Hanwha Ocean Co., and Hanwha Systems Co.—are set to hire new entry-level employees as part of their second half hiring plan.

According to Hanwha Group on Sunday, the combined hiring target for these three defense companies is about 600, the largest recruitment scale in recent years.

Hanwha Aerospace plans to allocate 55 percent of its total hires to the research and development (R&D) sector, taking into account ongoing projects, such as independent aircraft engine development and next-generation launch vehicle co-development.

Hanwha Ocean will recruit talent across all sectors, including R&D to develop future defense technologies, as well as in sales, design, project management, and production management.

Hanwha Systems is recruiting for positions primarily in defense hardware, software and optics.
