Girl group 2NE1 will hold a tour in Asia starting with concerts in Manila and Jakarta, with more stops to be unveiled soon.
The veteran girl group will kick off the tour with three concerts in Korea in October, followed by performances in Manila on Nov. 16 and Jakarta, Indonesia on Nov. 23, according to the quartet's agency YG Entertainment.
2NE1 is also set to hold six concerts in Japan. It will perform in Kobe on Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 and in Tokyo on Dec. 13, 14 and 15. Tickets to all performances sold out immediately, according to the agency.
"We are happy to share the news of the Asia tour thanks to the rave response from everyone," the agency said in a press release. "We promise to give the best concert as a gift to pay back all the love we've received over the years."
The tour comes as the result of a partnership between YG Entertainment, Live Nation and avex. More stops will be added in the future, the K-pop company said.
The girl group debuted in 2009 with single "Fire" and has since released numerous hits such as "I Don't Care" (2010), “I Am the Best” (2011), "Lonely" (2011), "I Love You" (2012), "Missing You" (2013) and “Come Back Home” (2014), earning widespread acclaim.
