Dongwha Enterprise launches eco-friendly furniture finish material

Dongwha Enterprise Co., a South Korean mid-sized wood manufacturing company, announced on Thursday that it is launching a new furniture finish and door material product.

The new product is made from the company’s own eco-friendly E0 grade boards, which are designed to prevent indoor air quality deterioration and mitigate the effects of new house syndrome caused by harmful substances.

The pattern of the product is designed to harmonize with the colors of home appliances, offering a unified aesthetic for interiors, according to the company.

The product comes in 10 colors and boasts durability and wear resistance.

The door material, in particular, combines the special E0-grade board with eco-friendly ACP surface material, which is an acrylic-based new material that is easy to maintain and 100 percent recyclable.

This combination provides outstanding resistance to discoloration and offers high dimensional stability, meaning the material retains its shape even with changes in temperature and humidity, the company said.
