Documentary films about BTS members RM and Jungkook are set to premiere while the two singers continue their military service until next year.

The RM documentary film "RM: Right People, Wrong Place” will premiere at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) set to take place from Oct. 2. The movie has been invited to the festival's Open Cinema section and will be showcased at outdoor movie screenings at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae District, Busan.

The film directed by Lee Seok-jun, who directed fellow BTS member J-Hope's music videos "Arson" (2022) and "More" (2022), follows BTS leader RM on his journey to make his second solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person" (2024), according to agency BigHit Music.

"It's meaningful to showcase RM's documentary film for the first time at BIFF,” said his agency. “We hope the message we aim to convey through RM's second solo album reaches everyone, and that viewers have a relaxing time watching the film.”

A global theatrical release for the film is planned for later this year, according to the agency.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's first solo documentary, "Jung Kook: I am still” is slated to hit theaters on Sept. 18.

The film chronicles the singer's eight-month journey to create his first solo album, "Golden,” and offers behind-the-scenes footage as well as unreleased interviews.

The movie will debut in over 120 regions worldwide, beginning with an exclusive premiere in CGV theaters in Korea on Sept. 18. It will hit theaters in Japan on Oct. 4.

Both RM and Jungkook began their military service last December and are expected to be discharged by next June.
