Wrtn, Sionic AI sign MOU to expand AI search services globally

AI service platform company Wrtn Technologies announced on Tuesday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sionic AI, a B2B AI platform company, to advance the infrastructure for AI search services.

Under the partnership, the two South Korean companies aim to create synergies in both B2C and B2B sectors as they expand globally. The duo plans to be at the forefront of the global dissemination of AI search services, leveraging Korean AI companies’ technological capabilities.

Wrtn Technologies will use Sionic AI’s generative AI platform “STORM” and infrastructure optimization technology to deliver B2C AI services that are faster and more efficient. For its part, Sionic AI will develop and provide enterprise-grade infrastructure based on Wrtn’s AI search technology, focusing on expanding its global B2B business.

Wrtn has been offering B2C AI services in Japan since 2023 and is currently conducting private Proof of Concept (PoC) projects with major Japanese corporations. The company is also in discussions with potential partners to develop localized services and establish business collaborations in regions such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Sionic AI, on the other hand, is aiming to complete its Japan-specific solutions and enterprise offerings by the end of 2024, along with establishing a local subsidiary.

“This MOU allows both companies to maximize their strengths in the AI B2C and B2B sectors. We are confident that it will enhance our competitiveness in the broader global market and create significant business opportunities,” Sionic AI CEO Ku Suk-hyun said.
