Actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung are set to meet in Disney+'s new series “Made In Korea,” the streaming platform said Thursday.
Directed by Woo Min-ho, the series is set in the 1970s and follows the story of Kitae, played by Hyun Bin, a man driven by ambition for wealth and power, and prosecutor Geonyoung, played by Jung, who stands in Kitae’s way.
The action thriller series will be director Woo’s first series. Director Woo is renowned for his films like “Inside Men” (2015), “The Man Standing Next” (2020) and “Harbin."
It will also be Woo's second collaboration with actor Hyun Bin. The two have previously worked together for Woo’s latest film “Harbin,” which is set for release at local theaters later this year.
The series will feature a star-studded lineup, including Hyun Bin and Jung, alongside actors Won Ji-an, Seo Eun-soo, Cho Yeo-jeong, and Jung Sung-il.
The new Disney+ series is scheduled to premiere next year.
